The desired objective of this website is to communicate quickly the services the clinic provides and to allow communication, literally at the touch of a button.
The above shot of the mobile-phone view of the screen shows one of 4 slider images (of 6 seconds duration) identifying all of the services provided in bullet form in addition to presenting the human face of the people who will be providing the service. The upper bar displays the email address and telephone number while the lower Green Call Me bar allows the mobile phone user to call the clinic directly, without having to remember and type in the number.
Further details on the types of injuries and treatments can be accessed via the pull down menu on the left hand side, prioritising symptoms / conditions which would be of most concern to someone who is suffering pain or movement restriction.
For the laptop viewer the navigation is the traditional pull down from a horizontal menu, which uses the extra space to present information via image based navigation to the relevant area of the body.
Simply selecting the right area of the body leads to a discussion on common conditions and appropriate treatments available from the clinic. In other words a potential client can find out as much as they wish about possible explanations for their suffering prior to asking for an appointment which can be done by phone or by completion of a simple email request form.
News
Regular updates are the life-blood of any commercial website as they create interest for returning viewers as well as having a large impact on the detection and rating of the website by common search engines, the largest of which being Google.
Every business concern should provide interesting and regular updates to their pages and this can be enabled in a straight forward manner as a post. The post can then be linked to all social media presences of the business such that the visibility of the update is greatly expanded to all social media interested parties and with any luck their friends…and indeed their friends. In short, you can reach many people with your post ,just by using the automated sharing potential of your latest news item.
After selecting Foot Pain article for example you would be taken to the article, at the bottom fo which lies the social media share buttons…which includes in this case Google+ and Facebook but can be extended to Twitter, Pinterest and many more.
The resultant article appears on the facebook page of a follower (me , in this example) and when a viewer clicks…they are taken directly to the article on the website, potentially leading to more business. The beauty of this with respect to the clinic situation is that while we may not be suffering from a problem at the moment, we almost certainly know someone who is and might be interested in this article.
